what you get with the Safari chef 2 bbq

what you don’t get with the cadac safari chef 2 low pressure BBQ

Safari chef 2 is a fantastic little bit of kit, however in this section of our review we shall go over what is not included in the bag!

Ok, well that’s not good, the bag is empty! So, what do we not get with the Cadac Safari Chef 2 low pressure BBQ then? Well, we’ll go into that and more in the following paragraphs, along with buying links to get must-have accessories and other items you may wish to buy to enhance your BBQ experience.

Gas Bottles, Gas Canisters and regulators

The Safari Chef 2 low pressure BBQ does not come with any fuel sources such as gas bottles or gas canisters! These are extras you need to buy and there are different brands and kinds of gas to buy, which we go over in more detail later in our review. You will also need to purchase the right kind of gas host and regulator kit to accompany your gas of choice. Mind blown by this? Don’t worry we go into more details about, which gas to purchase and what extras you need to get, such as gas regulators. Please follow the links below to learn more about ‘gas canisters’ and ‘gas bottles’ in our super handy guides, which also detail tutorials on how to connect gas to your Cadac BBQ.

Cookery

The Cadac BBQ range do not come with any cookery as this is deemed an optional extra. We will cover cookery in more detail in our cooking section of our review, but the short story is, you need to purchase or use your own cookery. Bare in mind, you don’t want to use sharp metallic cookery as it will damage the non-stick surfaces, so we advise wooden or plastic cookery.

Cadac Cover

You don’t get a cover with the Safari Chef 2 low pressure BBQ so it will be on show and exposed to the elements. We left our BBQ out in the rain and it seems fine, however it is best to keep under a canopy, inside your tent or awning, but if you are leaving it out I would get yourself a Cadac Safari Chef 2 cover. It is simply a branded bag that fits over the top of your BBQ, offering protection from the elements. We have a affiliate buying link below for you to purchase one.
